Windy Lake Lodge was purchased by Jake Flohr and Rick Wohlfahrt in January of 2010. The lodge is located at mile marker 122-1/2 along the Algoma Central Rail line, a destination that Jake and Rick have been visiting for a combined 30 years. 

Jake's family has owned a separate camp on Vesi Lake (2-1/2 miles from the lodge) since he was a young boy. Having essentially grown up in the area, Jake and Rick couldn't pass up the opportunity to purchase the lodge when it became available. 

Summer activities at the lodge include fishing, hiking, canoeing, mountain biking, swimming or just relaxing around camp. For hunters, the woods come alive in the fall with guided upland bird, black bear and moose hunting. Things quiet down during the winter months when we turn our attention to the serene activities of  cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
