By the middle of September the woods come alive with the sounds of flushing birds and shotguns. Cast and Blast is one of the most popular activities at our camp!

Start your day off with some morning trout fishing and spend the afternoon chasing partridge through the timber. For an additional $750 (and when we have tags available) guests may also choose to take a seat on one of our active bear baits and punch their tag when a trophy bear comes in for a snack. At Windy Lake Lodge the options are endless!

Cast and Blast Hunt Details:

Pricing is per person and includes lodging during your trip, use of our boats and information on the best areas to hunt and fish. Guests choosing to bear hunt will do so on an active bait and we will cape, quarter and bone out the animal for you.  Hunters are responsible for all license fees, transportation to/from camp, 13% provincial sales tax (on hunt fee), meat processing/taxidermy fees, and all export permit fees.

License Fees

• Non-residents are required to purchase an Ontario Outdoors card for $9.68. This should be done well in advance of your trip. Call 1-800-387-7011 for information on obtaining your card.
• Non-resident black bear license fee is $235.96
• Non-resident small game/bird hunting license fee is $118.11
• Non-resident fishing license fee is $29.97 (eight day license).
